Ready To Share Hope?

Welcome my friend to Need Hope.

I’m Chris Gray. And I’m so glad you’re here.

Where do you find hope?

The answer is….Looking to Jesus and Looking to God’s Word for guaranteed hope. In a moment, we will hear of a way for us to go deeper in our worship of Jesus and at the same time be ready to share the Good News with others. Stay tuned.

Intro Music

Let’s take a look at 1Peter 3:14-16. Before we do so, let’s pray:

Lord, please remind us of Your Word and please give us power in the Holy Spirit to do Your Word for Your glory. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ.

But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.”

Friend, God mentions in this passage that we always be ready to give an account for the hope inside us. How is this possible? By meditating on the Gospel which is the Good News of Jesus Christ. God has given me such joy in making this gospel meditation into a personal song. In singing the Gospel back to Him regularly, the Lord gives me a deeper worship of Jesus and fills my heart with joy and thanksgiving. Also, by singing these truths soo often, it’s memorized and I’m ready to share this hope we have in Jesus. Here’s the Gospel meditation song God gave me:

Thank You Father for Your love.

Thank You for sending Jesus Your Son.

Thank You Jesus You laid Your life down.

Nailing my shame, guilt and sin to Your cross.

You bled and died bearing judgment I deserved.

Buried then rose to victory. You won!

Victory. You’ve won Jesus over sin, Victory. You’ve won Jesus over death. Victory. You’ve won Jesus over the devil. Thanks for this victory, Jesus I have in You.

Thank You Lord Jesus, Savior and Friend.

Thank You Lord Jesus, glory to You alone.

Master, Maker, Redeemer Come soon.

Thanks for Your victory Lord Jesus I have as I wait on You.

In Ephesians 5:19, God says we are to sing and make melody in our heart to the Lord. So why don’t we make it our goal to daily sing to God our very own Gospel song along with other Biblical truths. In this way, our hearts will be filled with joy and thanksgiving, and we also will be more than ready to share with others the HOPE that is in us ….the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I’d love to know what personal song God puts on your heart. You can connect with me at our website Need-Hope.com.

There may be someone listening who needs hope. Dear Friend, God alone is able to lovingly offer us rescue. Rescue not only from hell but from this self-focused life, we are all born filled with strong desires that never satisfy or give us lasting peace. God delivers those who turn away from their rebellious self-ruled life and put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He died taking the judgment we deserve and then rose from the grave. His death allows us to be forgiven. I hope you won’t reject God’s love. Turn to Jesus today for a new life. If you want more information on how to have a relationship with Jesus, watch the 6-minute video under “Hope Starts Here” on our website Need-Hope.com

Until next time, Look to Jesus.

And look to God’s Word for guaranteed hope.
